Polished Contact Surfaces
The AR Enhanced fire-control group begins with a traditional single-stage design. Its hammer and trigger contact surfaces are polished to reduce the rough or gritty movement sometimes associated with standard unfinished components.
The trigger and hammer also receive a nickel finish. This creates a silver-colored exterior and reduces friction between their polished contact surfaces. The finish does not eliminate the need for appropriate inspection, cleaning, and lubrication.
This is not the same product as a self-contained 3.5-pound flat drop-in trigger. The AR Enhanced Polished Fire Control Group uses a conventional trigger shape and separate fire-control components rather than a cassette-style housing.
AR-15 and AR-10 Platform Compatibility
The manufacturer lists this component for PA-15 and PA-10 platforms. Compatibility should still be confirmed for the individual receiver, safety selector, pins, springs, bolt carrier, and other internal components.
